Kremke Reborn denim uni

A beautiful step towards slow fashion: a yarn made largely from recycled cotton. Reborn Denim is produced from worn cotton garments. The material is sorted by colour, mechanically processed back into fibres, and then spun into new yarn. To ensure stability and a refined colour appearance, 10% premium cotton is added. Because the yarn is neither bleached nor dyed, it has a distinctive denim-like character.

This recycled denim yarn has a pleasant, dry touch reminiscent of soft linen or bourette silk. The composition consists of 85% recycled denim, 10% cotton and 5% other fibres that cannot be fully separated during the recycling process.

Please note that this yarn may shrink after washing. We recommend knitting and washing a swatch first and, if necessary, choosing a slightly larger size.
