Worsted

Worsted is a knitwear collection curated by Aimée Gille of La Bien Aimée, bringing together 14 patterns by ten contemporary designers. Each designer contributes their own distinctive voice, resulting in a beautifully cohesive collection that speaks to many different kinds of knitters.

The book includes garments such as sweaters and cardigans as well as accessories like shawls and hats. Techniques range from stripes and stranded colourwork to cables and textured stitch patterns, offering a wide variety of engaging projects.

During the challenges of the Covid era, Aimée found comfort in developing a new yarn base, Corrie Worsted. Inspired by this yarn, all the designs in the book are worked in worsted weight yarn, celebrating knitting as a way to connect and create joy.
