Nordic Knits 2

Laine Nordic Knits 2 features 15 knitting patterns that are practical, thoughtful and timeless, with a special focus on garments suited to colder climates without compromising on style.

All patterns come from Nordic yarn brands or designers based in the Nordic countries and are worked using Nordic yarns. The understated Nordic aesthetic is also reflected in the beautiful photography and thoughtful layout of the magazine. The photographs were taken at Villa Ervi, designed by Finnish architect Aarne Ervi.

Featuring designs by Fiona Alice, Helga Isager, Anna Johanna, Védís Jónsdóttir / Ístex, Meiju Kallio, Henna Ketonen, Knitting for Olive, Pauliina Leisti, Sari Nordlund, Sara Ottosson, Saara Toikka / Novita.

The magazine also introduces Norwegian knitwear designer Ane Fiskum Sunde, known as Novemberknits, and visits Gotlands Spinneri, a small spinning mill on the Swedish island of Gotland.
