Archipelago knitting
Archipelago Knitting draws its inspiration from the sea and the rugged beauty of the Finnish archipelago. This beautifully produced volume presents 20 brand-new, previously unpublished knitting patterns shaped by coastal landscapes, weathered stones and distinctive island vegetation.
The collection combines timeless garment silhouettes with textured stitch patterns and colourwork details inspired by nature. It includes sweaters, a cardigan, a vest, socks, hats and shawls designed for everyday wear.
Designs in this issue are created by both Finnish and international knitwear designers, including Anna Johanna, Anna Tanskanen, Jenny Williams, Jona Bednjanec, Ulrika Krantz, Sara R., Emma Suominen, Hannemari Lehtonen, Heli Hottinen-Puukko, Janita Koskinen, Anna-Karoliina Tetri, Veera Jussila and Meg Gadsbey.
With difficulty levels ranging from easy to advanced and a wide size range, the collection offers inspiration for many different knitters.
An inspiring edition for lovers of Scandinavian knitwear with natural textures and a calm, timeless look.
